We've moved and have, for the most part, settled in. It's been unspeakably wonderful to move from a neighborhood with no trees to being surrounded by them. I am seeing birds from my window that I'd have to travel 30+ minutes for in Delaware. Fall seems brighter and more beautiful this year.
When I was a kid, I obsessed over one of the most insignificant characters in one of the most popular animes. It's not that embarrassing, but I haven't really told anyone who. Anyway, the newest series in said anime suddenly features him as a main character and I'm over the moon about it, even if he's not the type of character I'd hyperfixate on nowadays. It's even better to see other people who are fans of him and have been for a long time!
I duplicated my personal "digital garden" setup to use for work projects, which has been delightful. I've been looking for a setup that works for me for a long time, and I feel confident about porting over notes and writings from my past, failed setups. Now if only I had more hours in the day to get through them all in a reasonable timeframe...
